JAPC offers high-quality organic cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum) sourced from carefully managed agroforestry systems in Sri Lanka. Often referred to as the “Queen of Spices,” cardamom is prized for its bold aroma, complex flavour, and digestive benefits. Our cardamom is graded by size, colour, and oil content, and is available in whole pods, seeds, powder, and capsule-ready formats.

Grading Standards

Grade	Description
Grade A (Jumbo Pods)	Bold size (6mm+), vibrant green, high oil yield
Grade B (Standard Pods)	Medium size (5mm–6mm), good colour and aroma
Seeds Only	Dark brown seeds, screened and cleaned for powder or oil use
Moisture content: ≤10%
Essential oil content: 3%–5% (varies by grade)
